2019: The Year That Was!

With 2020 just around the corner, we thought it would be a good time to pause and reflect on the year that has been. 2019 has been a very eventful year for Recro from all sides. Not only did our family grow bigger and better, our reach, relationships and work also touched new heights. 2019 has been all about growing and scaling and creating a far reaching impact in the tech world. While there is a lot to celebrate and be thankful for, for the year that has gone by, some developments have been very close to all our hearts!

The journey from 20 to 100!

“The bigger the dream, the more important the team,” hasn’t made more sense to us than it does today. We started the year with a small close knit team of about 20 members. Today as we turn the leaf to the next year, we have crossed the century mark! Each new member brought along a unique style of working and super skills, contributing to the overall growth of Recro.

New engagements and relationships

2019 saw an exponential increase in our client base. Some of the fastest growing businesses partnered with Recro to power their tech operations. It is indeed a proud moment for us to have startups like Swiggy, Curefit, HomeLane, Bounce, Dunzo, MPL, Zivame, GamesKraft, Matchmove, Signeasy, Shubhloans, and SpringWorks join the Recro family. Spread across different domains, and target groups, what these businesses have in common is their affinity towards Recro as their technology partner!

Building high velocity team

A new focus for us in 2019 was to not only provide technology support to growing businesses as third party providers, rather help them extend team with credible and qualified talent. Bridging the gap between high potential talent and those who seek it, has been a major area of expansion. In a short span of time, we were successfully able to technically screen more than 5,000 profiles for seed to unicorn startups. In fact, among the screened candidates 3,000+ made it through the interview process! This lead to 80 rockstar hires.

Boiling down to business growth

Each of the wonderful developments this year have contributed in their own capacity to helping the revenue growth. We can proudly share that Recro achieved a 3X revenue growth in 2019. We seek to reach new heights every coming day. With new services to offer and backed by a robust team of dedicated members, we are all set to learn and grow, because after all, the sky’s the limit!

2019 has definitely been a year of ups and ups for Recro. We hope to maintain that euphoria for the year to come. Heartfelt gratitude to all those who have been a part of the Recro growth story. Let’s keep the ball rolling because we are just getting started!
